VITA Suprinity©

We are very excited about VITA’s new incredible all-ceramic option, VITA Suprinity.  This new challenger to the throne currently held by IPS e.max is one to stop and take notice of.

VITA Suprinity is a significant advancement in the field of glass ceramics which all dentists concerned with crowns, bridges and implants may wish to familiarise themselves with.  Incredibly, VITA have managed to successfully develop a hybrid material consisting of lithium silicate that is enriched with zirconia (approx. 10% by weight).  The result is the world’s first reinforced lithium silicate ceramic.  Logic would dictate that this somewhat perfect marriage is about to change everything (again!).

This provides for the following benefits for you and your patient:

Excellent load capacity:

Thanks to excellent mechanical load capacity, VITA Suprinity ensures high reliability and long-term clinical success.

Outstanding reliability:

The result of continuous load tests and the Weibull modulus show that VITA Suprinity offers durable restorations and a maximum level of reliability.

Optimal precision:

Compared to lithium disilicate ceramics, VITA Suprinity reveals improved edge stability after milling with Sirona’s MC XL system. As a result, restorations with higher precision are guaranteed.

Outstanding esthetics:

Thanks to the excellent translucency, fluorescence and opalescence, aesthetically pleasing results can be achieved with VITA Suprinity. Plus, the natural play of colours can be perfectly reproduced with VITA VM 11 veneering material.

VITA Suprinity is indicated for anterior and posterior crowns, veneering structures on implants, veneers, inlays and onlays.  It is available in high translucency (HT) and translucent (T) and OM1 in the VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER shade as well as in 7 VITA classical shades: A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B2, C2 and D2.

The end product can be characterised and the cut-back technique can be applied by using VITA VM11 porcelain if required.

VITA Suprinity is not available as a pressed ceramic and can only be milled by a Sirona milling machine.

IPS e.max© CAD

A versatile, highly aesthetic material with a flexural strength of up to 360MPa.  Those more familiar with IPS e.max®pressed ceramic crowns will notice the superior fits of these CAD counterparts.  Clinical Guide.

VITA Enamic®

VITA Enamic® is a permanent ceramic with a dual network structure that combines the best of what ceramic and composite materials have to offer. The material is not only suitable for fabricating conventional inlays, onlays, veneers and crowns for anterior and posterior applications, but can also be used for minimally-invasive restorations such as non-prep veneers and for restorations in areas where space is limited. VITA Enamic also ensures extraordinary levels of elasticity, even going so far as to include integrated crack prevention.  The crown is stained and glazed after being milled, resulting in a beautiful aesthetic.

TrueChroma

A brand new monolithic CAD/CAM ceramic restoration with an aesthetic similar to layered porcelain.  TrueChroma (CEREC C In) consists of an inner core of highly chromatic dentine covered by a translucent layer of enamel.  It stands to reason that the restoration should provide for a more natural appearance as natural teeth comprise of the same.  This is a genuine rival to IPS e.max®having its own chromatic point of difference.

The material is stronger and more durable than conventional PFMs, minus the risk of delamination. The end restoration is stained and glazed as appropriate to provide for a superb finish that you have to see to believe.     A perfect choice for most single unit anterior cases.

VITA Triluxe Forte®

A CAD designed and milled permanent budget option for single unit restorations.  This fantastic new product has the following features:

  • A monolithic structure
  • Graduated transparency throughout the material providing for a chameleon blend with natural dentition.  Importantly, the technician has complete control over the amount of incisal transparency during manufacture.
  • Intense colour saturation and increased fluorescence in the cervical area.
  • Abrasion behaviour like natural tooth enamel, reducing wear on opposing dentition.
  • Based on VITABLOCS Mark II fine-structure feldspar ceramic, with proven clinical reliability in more than 14 million restorations.

The final restoration is glazed and comes in a choice of the following base shades which can be stained down as required:

3D-Master VITA Classical Equivalent
1M2 A1
2M2 A2
3M2 A3

VITA CAD-Temp® monoColor

A CAD designed and milled temporary restoration suitable for crowns and bridges.
