I am excited to hear from Sydney-based Stoneglass Industries that BruxZir® Solid Zirconia will be available by mid-November 2011. Stoneglass Industries report that the TGA approvals are now in place and the manufacturing trials have been completed.
As you may have read in my previous blog post, we have been fortunate enough to have used the material recently and the results were highly impressive. The manufacturer informs that BruxZir® is virtually chip proof and I know by personal experience that the aesthetics are desirable. You may consider offering BruxZir® to your patients that grind or have destroyed previous restorations.

As a participating laboratory, we will soon be able to offer BruxZir® Solid Zirconia restorations as an ongoing product at a competitive price. Ceramic Studio employs the services of Stoneglass Industries to mill the restorations which we then receive for finishing. As with all work carried-out by Ceramic Studio, the restorations will be 100% Australian made in accordance with our strict values.
