Bonding BruxZir® Solid Zirconia Chairside


There is currently a lot of discussion concerning the best method for bonding BruxZir® Solid Zirconia to a prepared surface.  Glidewell Laboratories Director of Clinical Education and Research, Dr Michael C. DiTolla informs that he receives a lot of questions regarding how to bond the material into place.

Due to BruxZir® Solid Zirconia’s unique properties, it is not affected by sandblasting, hydrofluoric acid and typical silanes.  Dr DiTolla recommends using a special silane, namely Z-PRIME™ Plus.  Below is a link to his Clinical Tips page and YouTube video respectively for more information on bonding BruxZir® Solid Zirconia.
